Dr. Romek Märtsin graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Tartu in 2000. From 2001 to 2006, he was a resident at the North Estonia Medical Centre and the Hospital of Reconstructive Surgery. In 2006, he supplemented his studies at microsurgery course at the University of Tampere. Currently, he is specialised in reconstructive plastic surgery.
Dr. Romek Märtsin has worked at the Hospital of Reconstructive Surgery and is currently the head of the plastic surgery department at the North Estonia Medical Centre.

Studied autologous transplantation of fat tissue using the BEAULI method in Jönkõping, Sweden, and the Park Clinic in Birkenwerden, Germany. Practices the autologous transplantation of fat tissue: lips, facial contours, breasts, hands.
